Finally a few days of good weather. I’ve done 18 hours so far which is pretty good compared with last month so looking good for 40 hours for the month.
Did a test flight in MBH yesterday after an engine overhaul which involved flying around at redline for an hour. I ended up overhead Waipukarau and then headed back to PM but got a call from op’s near Dannevirke to pick up a couple of guys in FI who’d dropped off EBH for a check. Was a great 1.5 hours of low-stress flying from the left-hand seat.
Crap weather again today though!

Was trying to figure out what the problem with the weather was… thought you would be keen for the IFR action… until I got to the lines with CB’s

yeah, still VFR right now though. Should be IFR current again in the next couple of weeks.
