Only had two flights booked today, would’ve been nice to do the nav, but hey! Pretty quiet at Palmy today with the Air Nelson strike. Good to see the odd 737 coming through to cover though.
So far this month I’ve done 17 hours and 2 of that was the IFR trip ‘Round The Block’ (NZPM-RUGVI-WU-FOXTN-PM) Nothing like chasing needles around while wearing a hood. I was surprised at how much I still rememebered after about 4.5 years since my IR flight test. Seems all that FS2004 time has paid off. Hoping to get my IR renewed in the next couple of weeks in the PA28 and maybe get let lose to do some IFR on a plan.
Back to work on Wednesday, hopefully I’ll do more than 30 hours this month. Fingers crossed!
